We have just had a two night stay in the moor edge b&b arranged as surprise for our honeymoon by our family, Lucy and Brian were so welcoming and their b&b is just beautiful, I highly recommend and we can’t wait to visit again.

We stayed at Lucy's for 1 night whilst walking the Cleveland Way. We arrived wet and muddy with an even muddier dog and Lucy could not have been more accommodating - right down to tumbling some of our wet things!
The rooms were immaculate and so comfortable and homey. The bathrooms were fantastic and the shower had great water pressure.
We went for dinner round the corner at sneaton Castle - also fantastic
Breakfast was quick, delicious and just what we needed.
Can't recommend this enough and will absolutely return if ever in whitby again.

Stayed last night at the moor edge b+b what a lovely place everything was perfect stunning views from our bedroom window over looking the countryside en suite was spotless powerful shower the bed was so comfy the selection for breakfast was really good had the full English very well presented and delicious the hosts were amazing thank you so much hopefully see you soon Mally + Jo

Stayed here 1 night with my husband. Lucy & Brian were super hosts, the room was spotless with modern shower room and fabulous views over the fields. Just a short walk into Whitby centre or a bus outside. Delicious home cooked breakfast with vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. Dog friendly and travel sustainable measures to reduce single use plastic. Will definitely be back next time we're in the area.

Lucy and Brian couldn't have been more welcoming. The room was spacious and very comfortable after a day and night at a wedding nearby .

Stayed for 2 nights, received a friendly welcome and good information of where to eat etc.room we stayed in (the attic room) was clean and spacious and had fantastic views.
Breakfast was very good, all in all one of the best bed and breakfast I've stayed at. A massive thank you to our hosts and will be back.

Lucy and Brian are so lovely they made us welcome from the start they are really attentive and nothing is too much trouble for them. The B &B is stunning, the room was immaculate and facilities are stunning. What else can we say but wow and thank you. Definitely recommend to all and we can't wait to stay again!

Very welcoming couple. Nice decor, rooms very spacious, tea and coffee in the room. Not to mention the lovely biscuits from Bothams ( could have eaten a box of these ). The bed was comfy, room was lovely clean and fresh. Great nights sleep, woke in the morning to a lovely view across the fields and a slight noise of sheep. We had a very nice greeting in the morning with a little bit of humour, which is nice a some make you feel like they just want rid of you.Then came the best bit ( breakfast ), now for me this can make or break a return trip. We’ll be returning. You have to try the full English, all local produce and delivered in a timely manner. You should always expect a slight wait when it’s being cooked fresh but I thought this was quite quick. The wife had porridge (the proper stuff) with a bit of honey. You can tell they pride there selves on the service they give and I actually think they enjoy delivering a good service and this they do 5 stars plus. We will definitely be returning sooner rather than later. A massive well done and keep up the good work, you deserve every star.

Late booking for Folk week in Whitby
Able to give us a very spacious dog friendly room - spotlessly clean and comfortable at a very reasonable price.
Free Parking onsite which is an absolute bonus for visiting Whitby and a fantastic breakfast following morning which sets you up for the day

Went here with friends four of us stayed we couldn't believe how much Lucy was so friendly
The bedrooms were excellent not a drop of dirt anywhere
And breakfast this morning was the best i had full english with toast and tea
She gave us keys for front door and no rush to pay and get out
This was the best bxb i stayed in for a long time
